All Rehearsals are held at the Old Schoolroom,
Manor Street Museum, Braintree, CM7 3HW

Parking at the museum is no longer possible and the street is in no parking zone.
Park in Sainsbury's Car Park CM7 1XH, exit from the back of the car park and look for double gates leading to the back entrance of the museum.

Full band rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7.00 - 9.00 p.m.

Most rehearsals are used as preparation for forthcoming concerts and other events, working through items from our large repertoire of music. A drinks break in the middle gives a chance to chat and catch up with the latest news and gossip.

New Members

New members are always needed and welcomed. It doesn't matter how much experience you have, if any. We have all-round experts; members who joined as accomplished musicians but could not read music; music readers who have never played a brass instrument; some with no musical experience at all and everything in between. Whatever your skill level, as long as you are willing to learn and to put in time practising, you will be given the help needed to bring you up to a suitable standard. Why not come along and sit in for a rehearsal?
