  • Bocking Concert Brass is a popular community band based in Braintree, Essex.
  • A traditional brass band lineup of instruments is used to perform in a range of styles. Entertainment always comes first - this is not a competition band.
  • We have a busy season of outdoor concerts throughout the summer. The band performs its wide repertoire of light music at school and village fêtes, carnivals, concerts, and other public and private events.
  • In the winter season,our repertoire is dominated by Christmas songs and carols.

  • BOCKING CONCERT BRASS has vacancies for brass players of all abilities. No experience is necessary, but an ability to read music is an advantage.
  • Band instruments are available on loan.
